A Drive to Win Customers Who Will Become Ambassador of Brand

Mr. Dapo Omojola, a member of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) engaged Printers and Publishers with the importance of face-to-face marketing, he made this known while delivering a keynote speech at the opening ceremony program of the International Paper, Publishing and Print Expo (IPPEX).

According to Omojola, who is also a certified Trainer and Facilitator said “Face to face marketing is a direct marketing approach that involves engaging potential customers in person, rather than through digital or other indirect means. It is the process of building personal relationships with customers by meeting them in person to understand their needs, provide solutions, and create a memorable experience.”

He said further that “the importance of face to face marketing is unlimited, Face to face marketing create instant visibility of the products or services to the potential customers.

Face to face marketing also breaks down the barriers.

It provides the customers access to gain the full content of the message being transmitted.

It removes complacency and improve upon the competency of the sale personnel of the organization.

 

He also said that the setbacks of face-to-face marketing is that it requires expert and skilled personnel, there is huge amount of resources to train sales force in order to do the work of face to face marketing.

“Occupational hazard; There is a lot of dangers and risk of in face-to-face marketing. This may include verbal abuse, rejection, physical attacks, accident etc.

“Noise: There may be some interference in the smooth transfer of the message to the customer.

He concluded by imploring printers and publishers to protect their brand cause “when there is a potential damage to your brand, it booms like a news, so people people react to dissatisfaction more than satisfaction.

“The central premise of all sales is that people buy from people they “like” and people they “trust” always.

“Like and Trust can be maintained electronically, but it has been proven time and again that customers need some Face-to-Face contact to really get to Like and Trust.

“This is one of the reasons why Face- to-Face Marketing has become the number one business-to- business marketing medium and never a thing of the past.
