Muller Martini Customer Invests in Alegro Perfect Binder
GPS, one of Ireland’s largest sheetfed printers, is set to enhance its production efficiency with the new Alegro perfect binder from Muller Martini. This investment comes at a crucial time, particularly during the peak production season from August to December. GPS will soon install the Alegro at its Belfast facility.
David Bell, Director of GPS, highlighted the growing demand for their services and the continuous increase in print runs and volumes during his visit to the Muller Martini booth at Drupa. He remarked, “We are excited about this efficient perfect binder, which we expect will triple our productivity.”
Bell’s decision to choose the Alegro came after a thorough comparison of different perfect binders during a visit to Muller Martini in Switzerland. The Alegro was deemed the best fit for GPS’s needs. “The Alegro will be equipped with five stream feeders, which will be extremely helpful for jobs with many signatures,” Bell added.
This advanced machine will significantly simplify GPS’s production processes, which is particularly beneficial given the current shortage of skilled labor in Ireland.
