Mr Nwora Egbuniwe is one of the few Professional Printers in Nigeria. Presently, he is the Acting Government Printer in the Government Printing, Publishing and Stationery Department in the Ministry of Information and Communication Strategy, Awka, Anambra State of Nigeria. He was the Head of Section, Print Training Section, in Government Press before his appointment. Anambra state is in the South-East of Nigeria. Mr Nwora Egbuniwe took over the Headship of the Government Press on the 27th of April, 2012.
He studied Printing Technology at Yaba College of Technology, Yaba. He was within the 3rd set of Graduants of Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, in HND (Printing Technology) in 1983. He is a Member of Council, Chartered Institute of Professional Printer of Nigeria (CIPPON). He is a Fellow of Institute of Printing, Nigeria (IOPN), now known as the Society of Printing Practitioners of Nigeria (SPPN), where he is also a member of Council and Chairman of Task Force for the Improvement of Printers Statutes in Nigeria. While he was student in Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, he was an Associate, Institute of Packaging, London.
Mr Nwora Egbuniwe is 59years old and he is happily married with three children. He is a native of Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government, Anambra State. He attended the renowned Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha, Anambra State. The Rotary Club of Onitsha honoured him with a Community Service Award for his selfless services in the Community.
Mr Nwora Egbuniwe’s main ambition is the upliftment of his noble profession, Printing Technology, in Nigeria. To him Printing, as an age long profession, has to be respected and honoured.
Mr. Nwora Egbuniwe is presently the President of Society of Printing Practitioners of Nigeria.
