PRINTERS DIGEST can report that leadership of world digital printing machines manufacturing giant, AGFA Graphics is set to unveil her catche of product portfolios to industry players at the forthcoming DRUPA event in Düsseldorf, Germany.
At a pre-drupa press conference hosted in its headquarters in Belgium, Agfa Graphics recalled that “print and print technology continue to play a crucial role despite the digitization of our daily lives”.
noting also that “Print volumes undoubtedly suffer in particular areas and applications (e.g. newspapers, magazines and some commercial jobs), yet they are still growing in packaging, wide-format and industrial applications, as well as in the emerging economies, generating plenty of business opportunities”.

At drupa 2016, Agfa Graphics will present an overview of its product portfolio including the new ECO³ in prepress with the feature of a new generation of eco-friendly, economical and extra convenient CtP solutions for commercial, newspaper and packaging printers; Cloud solutions running in Agfa’s own data centers, for reliable and hassle-free prepress operations and communication.
Others include Best-in-class UV-inkjet wide-format sign & display printers with different automation and finishing options and dedicated workflow software; A state-of-the-art ink portfolio for a wide array of industrial printing applications; A new range of technologies for smart packaging print applications, including security design and authentication and track & trace software and the latest version of the company’s automated mobile publishing software for various media communities.
