IF YOU DO NOT INNOVATE, YOUR BUSINESS WILL SOON GO EXTINCT – Minister

Honourble Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment, Hajia Aisha Abubakar has highlighted the need for tradesmen, artisans,  printers, publishers and manufacturing professionals to be innovative so as to remain relevant in the business circle both locally and internationally.

The Minister spoke during the launch of ENVEMASTER & SECURE ENVELOPES by FAE Limited at the Intercontinental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to her, “I use to know FAE envelopes when I was much more younger. They used to come in small sizes and circulating almost everywhere in Nigeria. I can remember very well that anytime I put up a letter, the next thing I will do was to send for an envelope because I want to present my letter to my recipeint formally”.

“Today, we are experiencing a new way of packaging and making delivery of our mails. This is obviously an innovation because it gives every one of us a new dimension to ensuring total security and safety of our confidences. No doubt, this new security envelops is coming at a time when provision of total security to persons and properties is the political focus of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari”.

“I must say here that, when I used to envelop my mails back then, I had no idea of a day that an envelope will have a barcode let alone having a anti-counterfeiting, accountability,  and inventory feature. This is innovation per excellence. We need more of it because a business that do not embrace innovation will soon become irrelevant and die. We must look inward and learn to use our raw materials to create and define our business world as Princess Laoye and the FAE team had done”. She advised.

As gathered, ENVEMASTER and SECURE ENVELOPES   as believed, will positively change the Envelope Production World with it features like improved preservation of gum and silicon paper fit for long term storage, bar coded features for accountability, inventory, anti-counterfeiting, creation of employment opportunities, Saving of scare foreign earnings, diversification from dependence on oil, inward sourcing of raw materials, among other numerous advantages. Materials used for production from start to finish were sourced locally.
