Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is proud to announce that two of its clients, The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and Shelter Insurance Companies (Shelter), have been honored at the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) and In-plant Impressions 2024 In-Print™ Awards. Both clients used the AccurioJet KM-1e LED UV Inkjet press for their award-winning entries.
Each year, in-plant print shops across the country submit their best projects for consideration in the prestigious In-Print™ Awards. Hundreds of entries are judged by a panel of experts at the IPMA Headquarters, who determine the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Judges Choice award winners. The winners were showcased this week at the IPMA conference in Des Moines, Iowa.
UNL received two Gold awards for work produced on the Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1e. Their Admissions Zip Self-Mailer won in the Direct Mail category, and their Print & Mail Services Holiday Card took top honors in the Greeting Cards/Programs category. Shelter earned a Silver award for its 2024 Happy New Year Self-Mailer in the Direct Mail category and a Bronze award for its 2023 J.D. Power Poster in the Posters (up to 24×36″) category.
Shelter Insurance Companies relies on its in-plant for exceptional marketing materials, serving nearly 1,400 agents as well as its Marketing and Advertising departments. Since installing the AccurioJet KM-1e in February 2023, Shelter has benefitted from the press’s color consistency, uptime reliability, efficiency with larger sheet sizes, extensive media capabilities, minimal waste, and instant drying UV ink. The press’s performance contributed to Shelter’s success in this year’s In-Plant awards.
