National Secretariat of the National Union of Printing, Publishing and Paper Product Workers (NUPPPPROW) has condemned in clear terms the continued unrest in the labour movement parent body, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

The union which is an affiliate member body of the NLC and cater for the workforce within the paper and pulp sector are suing for immediate resolution towards ensuring a better landing for the Nigeria workers across varying employment offices in the country.

According to a printed resolution made available to PRINTERS DIGEST magazine, the union said “NUPPPPROW Secretariat called on the Labour Veterans not to relent in their effort to reconcile the factions in the NLC. The Leadership of the union is worried over this development which it observed, is affecting the workers generally”.

” The Union also condemns the show of disunity among Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), therefore call on the Leadership of two Labour Centers to organize a Truce meeting to resolve all the grievances in the interest of our commitment to the greater Labour Centers in the Country”, it added.
