ELECTION IS NOT MY PROBLEM, CIPPON IS BUILT ON INTEGRITY AND WE MUST NOT DEVIATE- MALOMO

As the Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) sets to hold a fresh election come July 2021, the President and Chairman in Council of the Institute, Mr Olugbemi Malomo has reiterated the position on which the current council was built upon – Integrity and Accountability and has stated that under his watch the current council will never deviate from it

The President made his position known to Printers Digest Magazine during an interview on the state of the industry and matters arising as the institute set for a fresh election in a few months time

Malomo encouraged every stakeholder in the print value chain to join in the fight to restore the Nigerian printing industry to a profitable sector for every practitioner under the print value chain.

He stressed that practitioners must have one strong united voice in the ongoing campaign of restructuring in order to be noticed and known for the right motive of making sure Nigeria printing jobs remains in Nigeria.

According to him, the ongoing campaign of “LET NIGERIA PRINT JOBS REMAIN IN NIGERIA” is very key if the printing business is to be profitable again and CIPPON cannot win this fight without the support of the practitioners in the sector.

He further added that the election is fast approaching and encouraged every stakeholder in the industry not to lose focus of the ongoing campaign as there are a lot of things the industry can achieve before the election date. He stated
