It was competitive at the just concluded SGIA 2016 as Aurora Specialty Textiles Group launched the Expressions Canvas line, an exciting, new collections specially engineered for optimal performance across a broad range of today’s latest digital printers, including latex, UV, solvent and eco-solvent.
Expressions is both robust and versatile, providing Print Service Providers (PSPs) that use different printers with a canvas that can be used across multiple platforms without sacrificing print performance, ink usage or production output.
The new Expressions line offers the full range of popular gloss levels requested by today’s market, from matte, satin, semi-gloss to gloss, all available at widths up to 122” and roll lengths up to 1,100 yards. Aurora, being the manufacturer, also has the ability to provide custom sizes to best meet customer needs.
Aurora Specialty Textiles Group has developed a proprietary coating for the Expressions line that not only makes it versatile, but also optimally high performing. Expressions is also OBA-free, demonstrating very good archival properties without sacrificing whiteness. Expressions is made from premium 35% cotton/65% polyester fine oxford weave (2-over-1).
